ISO 9001:2000
What it means
As you know, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) revised the 1994 version of ISO 9001 standard. The new standard is called ISO 9001:2000. ISO 9001:2000 was released on December 15th 2000.
The main differences between ISO 9001 : 2000 and ISO 9001 : 1994 are follows:
- Measurement of customer satisfaction.
- Continuous improvement.
- Increased attention to resource availability.
- Measurements extended system, processes, and product (including services).
- Analysis of data collected on the performance of the quality management system.
