Upgrade Policy
Existing users of our older products can upgrade to Proton Development Suite through a number of upgrade paths:
1) Licenced Users that purchased the Proton Plus Compiler
This applies to customers who paid for the Crownhill Proton Plus Compiler, including those who purchased it, or cross-graded from a competitive product during the cross-grade offer period.
You can upgrade to the Proton Development Suite by visiting the Crownhill e-commerce site where you can place an on-line order for the upgrade. When upgrading your existing license will be come Null and Void and you will be issued with a new license for the Proton Development Suite along with User Manual and CD-ROM containing the Development Suite Installation. Upgrade options are available from the Crownhill web-site only, upgades cannot be purchased from resellers.
2) Licensed Users that received the Proton Plus Compiler as a complimentary upgrade from Crownhill, who originally purchased Crownhill PICBASIC Plus.
This applies to customers who have not purchased the Proton Plus Compiler, but are recognised by Crownhill as Licensed users of the Proton Plus Compiler.
